Innovation in the services: How to benefit more from mobile and wireless ICT?

According to the ‘mWatch 2006’ survey, Helsinki – Espoo – Vantaa are among Europe’s most advanced regions for the development of mobile services, based on the information and communications technology. The region can be proud of its advanced communications infrastructure, cross sectoral partnerships, and its ability to effectively introduce new mobile applications. Yet, more could be done to become Europe’s leader in innovation in the services.

Jan Annerstedt will discuss how to create a better innovation environment to advance mobile services in the greater Helsinki area. Mr. Annerstedt is a professor at Copenhagen Business School and the director of Interlace-Invent, a research-based consultancy and investor. He is the co-founder of Living Labs Europe, a pan-European network of firms and institutions which remains focused on user-driven innovation.
