European eHealth Competition has chosen the 16 finalists. Among the finalists are seven Finnish SME’s.
With the endorsement of the European Commission, TICBioMed organizes the EU SME eHealth Competition. The competition rewards the best eHealth solutions produced by European Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). In Finland, the competition is coordinated by Forum Virium Helsinki.
The idea of the competition is to support business success of SMEs by giving them visibility together with marketing opportunities to attract customers, partners and external capital.
The functional scope is on eHealth or active and healthy ageing. All the eligible ICT solutions have to focus on the healthcare or active and healthy ageing markets.
The eHealth Competition Final this year will take place on the 2nd of April 2014 in Nice (France), as a satellite event of the World of Health IT conference
