ENOT Project Anticipates Skills Needed in Future Working Life

The ENOT project helps employees and organisations to keep pace with the ever-accelerating development of working life. The project’s digital solution strengthens the competitiveness of companies by promoting the identification and attainment of skills needed in working life.

Objective

The ENOT – Anticipatory Skills for Working Life project addresses the challenges posed by the constantly changing needs of working life for both employees and companies. The project aims to promote sustainable employment, respond to companies’ skills needs, and utilize digital solutions for skills identification and knowledge transfer.

The project will create a collaborative model between companies and educational institutions. This model will strengthen the identification of employees’ skills and the anticipation of necessary skills. The model is supported by a digital tool for identifying one’s own skills. The project will also develop a workplace pedagogy guide for organizations, as well as new micro-courses and skills coaching for employees.

Forum Virium Helsinki’s Role

Helsinki’s innovation company Forum Virium Helsinki acts as a sub-implementer in the project and is responsible for developing an individual-oriented skills identification collaboration model. In particular, Forum Virium Helsinki focuses on developing the digital tool for skills identification and ensuring secure data transfer.

Responsibility

The project aims to contribute to addressing the skills mismatch problem in the labor market, where employees’ skills do not fully meet the needs of the labor market. The developed individual-oriented skills anticipation and identification model helps employees develop and maintain their skills in a changing working life.
