Forum Virium Helsinki is seeking new mobility services and solutions for travellers in the Jätkäsaari area through agile experimentations. The open call for offers is open until 4 May 2018.
The experimentations are part of the Last mile project, which seeks new mobility services and solutions for the use of travellers, residents and commuters in Helsinki, Vantaa and Espoo. This open call focuses on travellers in the Jätkäsaari area of Helsinki.
Agile experimentations for the needs of travellers
We are seeking two to five agile experimentations through an open call. The maximum cost of one experimentation is 10,000 euros (VAT 0%). The maximum total cost of all experimentations is 45,000 euros.
The open call seeks experimentations that provide solutions to travellers’ mobility challenges and improve the accessibility of tourist destinations. The expected content of the experimentations is described in the open call document found below. The open call is directed to companies and other actors that provide novel mobility solutions and services. Two or more actors can leave a joint proposal together.
The expert panel of the Last mile project will select the experimentations for implementation. The experimentations will start in summer 2018, and the maximum duration of an experimentation is five months.
The Jätkäsaari area acts as a platform for experimenting and provides a concrete environment for testing new services and solutions. The experimentations carried out with travellers provide feedback, lessons and real-life experiences regarding the services. Forum Virium Helsinki facilitates the implementation of the experimentations, providing its contacts with relevant cooperation partners. The experimentations will be communicated by Forum Virium Helsinki.
