The European Beyond Data Event is a chance for communities and stakeholders from around the world get together to share experiences and enthusiasm, shape innovative ideas and tackle problems.
A data-driven city is a city that intelligently uses data to better deliver critical core services. Open data makes the data accessible in a way that it can be re-used again. In the upcoming years it will change the was citizens engage with their government.
The Beyond Data event brings you examples from cities, industries, research institutions and innovative start-ups for new insights. You hear best practices from Manchester, Eindhoven, Vienna, Cologne, Rotterdam, Dordrecht, Amsterdam, Gent, Oostende and Helsinki.
Project Manager form the City of Helsinki and Helsinki Region Infoshare Tanja Lahti will be participating a round table themed “What are the main challenges for the cities”. Other panelists are Gaby Sadowski (Eindhoven), Bart Rosseau (Gent) and Katalin Gallyas (Amsterdam). Introduction is given by Rik van der Linden from Alderman City of Dordrecht.
