Place: Online webinar, link will be sent before the event

Green infrastructure solutions can support cities in reaching climate change adaptation and mitigation goals. If planned well, they ensure the quality and biodiversity of urban ecosystems and promote residents’ wellbeing. B.Green project aims at enabling early participation and consideration of green infrastructure solutions in urban planning by developing and testing solutions with the help of digital and virtual tools together with residents and experts in Helsinki and Tallinn.

Welcome to this morning webinar to hear more about local pilots in Kalasatama and Putukaväil, and how B.Green’s model for data-driven and participatory urban planning will support the pre-planning of multifunctional green infrastructure solutions. We’ll also discuss the possibilities of digital participation tools enabling wider participation in planning processes.
