The fifth workshop in the Share-PSI series is organised in Berlin 25-26.11.2015. The theme of the workshop is “Maximising interoperability – core vocabularies, location-aware data and more” and it is open and free for everyone. The workshop is explicitly interested in ideas, concepts and solutions that directly or indirectly address the interoperability of open data and PSI.
You can submit a paper for a plenary or lead a session at the workshop. Deadline for the plenaries is 17th October and for submission of session proposals 25th October.

Share-PSI 2.0 is a European network for the exchange of experience and ideas around implementing open data policies in the public sector. It brings together government departments, standards bodies, academic institutions, commercial organisations, trade associations and interest groups to identify what does and doesn’t work, what is and isn’t practical, what can and can’t be expected of different stakeholders.
The main activity of the network is to organise a series of workshops examining different aspects of PSI. The network is coordinated by WC3 and the Finnish partners are the Ministry of Finance and Forum Virium Helsinki. The workshop in Berlin addresses the topic of interoperability of open and location-aware data, which is in line with the smart & open city themes of Forum Virium Helsinki. Forum Virium Helsinki is also participating in the programme-planning for the workshop.
