What would you like from electric vehicle (EV) charging in Ruoholahti in the future? We invite the residents of the district of Ruoholahti to come and discuss the topic with us.

You are warmly welcome to hear about the new types of charging possibilities coming to the Ruoholahden Pysäköinti area and to discuss the future of electric vehicle charging!

Ruoholahti is already one of the world’s largest electric vehicle charging areas, with over 1200 vehicle pre-heating and EV charging points operated by eParking in the Ruoholahden Pysäköinti area.

Now, the new ePowerMove project is developing smart electric vehicle charging solutions for European cities. The Finnish experiment on this topic will be in Ruoholahti. It is being done in cooperation with eParking (IGL-Technologies Oy), VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, EV charging manufacturer UTU, and the City of Helsinki’s innovation company Forum Virium Helsinki.

The event languages are Finnish and English. Welcome to participate on-site!

ePowerMove develops smart, low-cost, and grid-flexible on-street EV charging. The project is implemented by 18 European partners. From Finland there is VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Forum Virium Helsinki, UTU Oy, and IGL-Technologies Oy (eParking). The project receives funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation program.
