100 pilots across Europe

The overall aim of the CommuniCity project is to find technological solutions that match the social, economical and urban challenges identified by the participating cities. Therefore, the CommuniCity project organises 100 pilots around Europe during the years 2023–2025 together with three partnering cities and the replicator cities.

The first CommuniCity Open Call in early 2023 awarded a total of 13 pilots to be implemented in cooperation with the partnering cities of Amsterdam, Helsinki and Porto. In 2023, a total of 25 pilot projects were awarded during the second round of CommuniCity Open Calls when the cities of Aarhus, Breda, Prague and Tallinn joined as replicator cities.
