The ARKI 135 Hub, which opened in Arabia, brings together companies working in the circular economy. The hub’s goal is to support the business and collaboration of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The ARKI 135 Hub is a part of the Arabia Circular Hub project, co-funded by the European Union. This project is managed by the City of Helsinki’s Economic Development Department, Business Helsinki, and the innovation company Forum Virium Helsinki. The project aims to strengthen Helsinki’s position as a pioneer in the circular economy by supporting the development and innovation of companies in the sector.

“As a pioneer in innovation-driven entrepreneurship, we recognize the business opportunities offered by the circular economy. Through projects like the Arabia Circular Hub, we can support circular economy companies in their growth and make Helsinki a leader in the circular economy,” says Marja-Leena Rinkineva, Director of Economic Development for the City of Helsinki.

Hub in a Historic Factory Quarter

ARKI 135 is located in Arabia’s historic factory quarter, now known as a place for creative industries. The hub’s operations are developed in close cooperation with other operators in the Arabia 135 block as well as Varma, which manages the block. This collaboration aims to create a vibrant circular economy ecosystem in the area.

“For Forum Virium Helsinki, the hub is also a platform for new project launches to support circular economy innovations and business in the future. We aim to identify and develop new initiatives together with both domestic and international partners,” says Kaisa Spilling from Forum Virium Helsinki.

The ARKI 135 Hub is open during events at Hämeentie 135 A, 4th floor. The space provides a concrete meeting place for circular economy companies to connect with other industry players, showcase their solutions, and create new collaboration opportunities.

The Arabia Circular Hub project is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
