THE SURVEY HAS CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST!
As citizens and consumers, we are regularly asked to provide personal data in order to gain access to services we wish to get. This is generating a growing amount of concern about data security.
The aim of this survey is to get a better overall understanding of the attitudes linked to consumer consent and data security, and to build an infrastructure that ensures personal data is only being used for the exact purpose that the consent was given. The survey also aims to clarify the role of service providers as processors and providers of personal data.
Answer the survey! It takes 5-10 minutes.

The objective of the EU-funded smashHIT project is to assure a trusted and secure sharing of data streams from both personal and industrial platforms which are needed to build sectoral and cross-sectoral services. The results of the survey will be used in developing new innovative services especially in the data economy field, such as in insurance and smart traffic, but other fields will have access to the results too. The survey does not collect personal data.
The city of Helsinki innovation company Forum Virium will utilise the answers of the survey in smart mobility experimentations, where new ways of sharing and utilising personal data are being tested. Read about the project here.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No 871477.
