IoT-EPIThe European Platforms Initiative (IoT-EPI) was formed to build a vibrant and sustainable IoT-ecosystem in Europe, maximising the opportunities for platform development, interoperability and information sharing.

Biotope: The bIoTope project develops an innovative technology and a platform that enables interoperability between different IoT objects and systems, and provides a possibility to easily create new IoT solutions in a such open innovation ecosystem.

Forum Virium Helsinki IoT programme: Forum Virium Helsinki’s IoT program aims for a vibrant open Smart City IoT ecosystem. With MySMARTLife project the program demonstrates IoT-enabled systems and open real-time data in energy and mobility.
To ensure scalability of the solutions, Helsinki uses Synchronicity project to strengthen with leading Smart cities the European digital single market for IoT-enabled smart city services. Together with complementing projects they form the basis of Helsinki Open IoT framework.
