Use of Unity has been extended to engineering and city planning. The City of Helsinki is launching the first release of 3D city information model for Unity. The platform based on the City of Helsinki´s 3D model is available for developers for free.
Unity is a cross-platform game engine developed by Unity Technologies, which is primarily used to develop video games and simulations for computers, consoles and mobile devices. Unity is an multipurpose game engine that supports 2D and 3D graphics.
