Visualizing Knowledge is a seminar on making information visible. A wide variety of speakers with backgrounds in science, art, design and journalism give short talks on data visualization and information design, aimed at non-experts. The seminar is moderated by professor emeritus Tapio Vapaasalo and information designer Juuso Koponen.

The seminar is bilingual, organized so that Finnish language talks are in the morning and English talks in the afternoon, so that non-Finnish speakers can participate on the afternoon’s session. Tickets are available on the Tickets page.

The event is organized by Informaatiomuotoilu.fi with Aalto Media Factory and Grafia, the association of visual communication designers in Finland. The event has been made by possible by contributions from the journalism programme at Haaga-Helia university of applied sciences.
