Shape the future of Finland’s drone services with Forum Virium Helsinki, Stara, robots.experts and Ultrahack!
Drone services are becoming an important service for the construction, maintenance and logistics industries. However, the procurement process for drone service is at its infancy, it’s time & resource-consuming. Writing tender specifications and requirements is fragmented across the organisation and relies on employees without much drone expertise.
Standardising service descriptions and building a procurement platform for drone services are much needed to improve the use of drones in industries. Helsinki City Construction Services Stara, supported by Forum Virium Helsinki, robots.experts and Ultrahack, looks for solutions to optimise drone service procurement. Forum Virium Helsinki participates in the Drone as a Service Hackathon with Development Director Pekka Koponen in the jury as well as Specialist, Sowtware designer Aapo Rista and Project Manager Heidi Heinonen in the mentoring team.
Ultrahack will be organising an informative webinar to meet the partners and receive an insight to the challenges faced with drones as a service procurement. The webinar is scheduled for 23 November 2020 at 4 PM (Finnish time).
The Drone as a Service Hackathon will be held on 8-10 December 2020.
