The five Nordic capital cities and Nordic Innovation breaks new ground to solve one of the biggest challenges our societies face
Join us in Oslo to celebrate the winners of the Nordic Independent Living Challenge!
In February 2015, the five Nordic capital cities Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Reykjavik and Stocholm launched the Nordic Independent Living Challenge innovation competition together with Nordic Innovation. The aim was to meet the shared challenge of a an ageing population and an increase in cronic disease.
We invited innovators from all the Nordic countries to develop solutions that make it possible for elderly citizens and citizens with disabilities to live independently in their own homes. From the stunning 415 ideas that were submitted to the competition, we are now left with ve nalists who will compete for the main prize of one million NOK. We will also award prizes for the best student team, as well as for the best cross-Nordic team.
If you work with health and welfare solutions in a Nordic municipality or government, work in care, use health and welfare solutions, are an investor or simply just interested in how you can develop innovative new health and welfare solutions, you should save the date and join us in Oslo June 9th 2016 in the afternoon.
