The Select4Cities -project contractors are utilising the Enfuser for open data in the IoE platform testing. We are hosting this webinar as there has been several requests for Enfuser instructions in English.

The Enfuser model has also been used in the SynchroniCity -project in the development of the air quality route planner, which optimise routes depending on air quality.

The Finnish Meteorological Institute has developed a novel air quality model that combines dispersion modelling techniques, information fusion algorithms and statistical approaches. The operational modelling system provides both real-time and forecasted, high resolution information on the urban air quality.

In other words, the model takes into consideration aspects such as weather conditions and topographical features, like the city landscape, to make a dispersion assessment. It uses data from the air quality sensors of the Finnish Meteorological Institute.
